You can’t go to Bear Lake (UT/ID) without stopping for a famous raspberry shake in Garden City! The problem is, which restaurant really has the BEST raspberry shake??? Press Forward DIY Wood Arrow Craft
I have lots of fond memories of LDS Girls Camp (youth camp for our church) growing up. It’s been about 7 years since my last girls camp (as a leader), and I was excited to be going again this summer. Wizard of Oz Theme YW New Beginnings
For our Young Women’s New Beginnings this year, the president chose to do a Wizard of Oz theme. The mutual theme for this year is:
“Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life” (2 Nephi 31:20).
The idea is that we must press forward along the path (yellow brick road) until we reach home (Eternal Life). It turned out really cute. I have a few tutorials for decorations in this post, and my friend Kim at Life’s Journey for Perfection has the program and printables. [Read more…] about Wizard of Oz Theme YW New Beginnings
